The block set is sandcast and it is recommended that the friction bearing surfaces are all smoothed with Emery cloth ahead of use.
Supplied with basic use advice sheets.

NOTE: You will have to supply your own bottle jack for use with the blocks. The rating of any such jack must not exceed 6 tonnes.

Heavy duty steel frame for use with aluminium block set 10mm base plate, 50mm box section risers, 50mm x 25mm top bar......substantial!!!
Note: should not be used with bottle jack in excess of 6 tonne rating

BUFFALO HORN FORMING PLATE
Buffalo Horn handle forming plate. Made in 10mm plate steel with accurate market stick sized central "former". Strong welds ensure a lifetime's use. A "foot" welded to rear surface of the plate ( not seen in photo ) enables the plate to be firmly gripped in the vice. Heated horn may be shaped around central portion with use of sash and G clamps. Heated horn may also be firmly drawn to backing plate with clamps ensuring that resultant handle blank is "plum" and nose section in line with heel.

4" G Clamp
"Kennedy Engineering", heavy duty drop forged G Clamp. For use in "pinning" the horn being worked around the central "former". Extremely strong clamps that will give a lifetime's use.

Deep throat G Clamp
"Kennedy Engineering" drop forged, heavy duty clamp for use with Buffalo horn forming jig. The especially deep "throat" on the clamp enables the horn being worked to be drawn flat to the jig surface at any position around the central "former" ensuring the resultant handle is "plumb", the heel being in line with the nose.
These clamps are immensely strong and are unbreakable with hand use. An invaluable accessory if you intend working buffalo horns.
Not only are these the best clamps of their type, but we are confident you won't find them cheaper anywhere.
