We stock a variety of MUCH larger horns suitable for drinking horns, blowing horns, powder horns or cutting down for shoehorns, spoon making etc. Potential uses are many and varied but we can select dimensionally and on colours for what you require.
Our huge bulk stock of these horns often yields some really special LARGE horns, which can have 8" open ends and enormous capacity.

Heated and flattened Ox Horn sheet. Many interesting colours from the very light through to the very dark. Lighter pieces can be thicknessed to yield almost translucent material. Darker material often has interesting grey and brown variegated apprearance Various sizes available, on average 8 - 12cm wide x 18 - 24cm long. We can select from large stock to suit the individual requirement and offer a thicknessing service ( down to a perfectly dimensioned, even 1mm if required ) at extra cost.
Great for jewellery ( brooch type ) work where shapes easily worked by fretsaw. Enquire please if this is of interest - we have numerous clients involved in restoration, inlay work and the manufacture of historical items that already make use of this service.
These are the same material as our "Craft Grade" material and are suited to making drinking cups / similar or for cutting to yield layered, variegated strips or small blocks of material for capping or general craft and jewellery work. We DO NOT ship horn or wood to outwith the EU as there are potentially Customs issues.
